FAQ’s
Wait are you a photographer or videographer?
I offer both! I did start out my creative journey as a photographer, but most of my wedding/elopement work is now videos. I have a couple of close talented friends that are both photographers & videographers too. So whatever medium you choose for me, I can happily organise/offer someone that I work incredibly well with for the other role, or even a second shooter. Having a photographer & a videographer that work together well is very underrated & makes the day run a lot smoother. It also saves you time & energy during the organisation process.
How long until I receive my video/pictures?
Turn around for the final product is anywhere between 8-12 weeks. I will get a smaller highlight video/20-25 pictures out within 7-10 days of the event taking place.
Do you shoot destinations weddings/elopements?
For sure, where are we going? I love to travel! There will be an extra fee to compensate for the travel & accomodation. However, it’s nothing we can’t make happen.
What camera gear do you use?
I currently use two Nikon z7ii’s as my main cameras- a great all round camera for both photos & videos. I love to use my film cameras too, whether it’s super8, 35mm or medium format. I also have a drone which I enjoy using, however this is depended on the weather, curious birds & restricted areas.
Do you use the images/videos?
Yes, I will use them for my portfolio & further marketing.
Can we get a chance to meet you beforehand?
Definitely, this is very important for both of us. Whether it’s over a coffee or we have a chat via video call. I really enjoy meeting everyone & gauging peoples personal style & taste. We can also go over any other finer details, ideas and/or request you may have.
We are super awkward in-front of cameras…
Don't worry, most people are. It's my role to gauge you as people and match that with how I approach the filming/photos. If you're more laid back & chill your photos are going to represent that. If you’re more comfortable with cameras I'm going to get closer & engage more. Either way it can seem odd to have someone follow you around with cameras, but I promise I will make it very easy to deal with. That’s my job, don't stress about that.
We saw this really awesome video/pictures we love. Can you do that?
For sure. Working with mood boards & other tools to get your desired outcome is something I love. Most people trust my creative ability to produce something special from the day. I’m also not against trying to recreate something you really love whilst maintaining my personal style.
